Scripture Study: 1 Nephi 6 and thoughts about the war chapters

To summarize most of the verses in this chapter, Nephi explains that he is not going to record his genealogy on the plates he’s writing, because it’s already recorded elsewhere and he wants to use his plates to record the things of God. Questioning the Lord

While I was working on today’s Scripture Study, which talked about Sariah and her concerns for her sons while they were obtaining the plates of brass, I began to think about the doubts that often creep into our minds and hearts. We live in a world that is focused on materialism and greed, carnal pursuits and fame.
