Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 35

This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson thirty-five in the manual for those over eight. The Junior Primary lessons are based on lesson thirty-four each week. You may want to review the September Primary theme as well. You can also review your family home evening lesson throughout the week. Remember to keep the discussions upbeat and positive. Primary Time: September 2007 Sharing Time Theme

The sharing time theme for September is “My faith in Jesus Christ grows when I serve others.” The scripture is Mosiah 2:17: “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.” Since the Sacrament Program is coming up there is not a specific song that the children will learn this month. You should take the time to review all of the songs with your children. The theme is broken down into four separate points. The children will learn that Jesus taught that we should serve others. Primary Program Preparation

If you are like me, you end September like this every year: you get a letter or handout from the Primary presidency telling you the songs your kids were supposed to have learned since the beginning of the year, and please make sure your kids are ready to sing them.
