Today I stumbled upon a new web site about Joseph Smith. It is an official church site and it talks about the life and mission of the prophet Joseph Smith. This is really great site that has a lot to offer if you want to learn more about Joseph Smith.

There are several sections on the site. One of the sections is "Mission of the Prophet." This section talks about the different things that the prophet did to help restore the church to this earth. The next section is "Life of the Prophet," which comprises the events of the prophet's life. The third section is "Witnesses of the Prophet." This section contains testimonies from the current First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve as well as from past prophets. The fourth section, "Historic Sites," contains information and slide shows that are available on the different places that Joseph Smith lived. The last section is "Other Resources." Through this section you can find artwork, and other information you may want to learn. You can also find quotes on a variety of subjects by Joseph Smith.

As you visit the site you can look and find out what the prophet was doing on a specific date in history. Beautiful artwork and photographs are also available to view. You can also view documents that were written by the prophet. The tool allows you to zoom in close enough that you can read the actual script. There is also a transcript next to several of the images.

This is a great site if you want to learn more about Joseph Smith. I was surprised when I stumbled upon it, and the longer I looked the more impressed I became. I highly recommend that you take the time to go and spend some time browsing through the information available to you.
