Dinner Discussions for Week 37

This week's dinner discussion topics are based on lesson 37. You may need to adjust according to your ward's schedule. Remember to keep the conversation positive. You may also want to discuss the upcoming General Conference this week.

If you have a child in nursery or Sunbeams, she learned about the importance of being honest. The children learned about the two thousand sterling warriors. They also discussed situations in which they can choose to be honest. You may want to discuss scenarios with your children.

If you have a child between the ages four and seven, he learned about the importance of keeping the Sabbath Day holy. The children discussed the story of the Savior healing the man with the withered hand on Sunday. They talked about activities, which they can do on Sunday. They also talked about the importance of keeping the Sabbath day holy.

If you have a child between the ages of eight and eleven, she learned about King Josiah and Ezra. Josiah became king when he was eight years old. He asked Ezra, a prophet, to read the scriptures to him. The people of Israel learned the laws again, and repented of the acts they were doing. The reading assignment for the week 2 Kings 23:1-3, 2 Kings 23:25, and 2 Kings 40:8.

If you have a child twelve or thirteen years old, he learned about being honest. They discussed the consequences of dishonesty. They also discussed the importance of being honest with others and with God. They also discussed the importance of being honest with themselves.

For all members age fourteen and up, the lesson was based out of Isaiah again. This lesson talked about what Christ has done for each of us. The lesson discussed the resurrection, and the need to make Christ your foundation.

The Young Women learned about the importance of taking care of their bodies, and living a healthy lifestyle. The Young Men learned about the Aaronic Priesthood and its authorization. Relief Society and Priesthood lessons were based on talks from last General Conference. The topics may vary from stake to stake.
