Here are the lesson topics for week 36. Remember to keep the dinner discussions as light as possible. You want to reinforce what your children learned without putting a lot of extra pressure on them. You can easily discuss each lesson topic over dinner during the week.

If you have a child in Nursery or Sunbeams he learned about being a good example. The children learned about the story of Jesus and Zaccheus. They also talked about when Jesus prayed for the little children in the Book of Mormon. They learned that they should pray for others as well.

If you have a child age four through seven she learned about how she is wise when she chooses the right. The children learned about the wise man and the foolish man. They discussed examples of people being wise or foolish. You may want to review scenarios with your child about being wise or foolish with her decisions.

If you have a child age eight through eleven he learned about the prophet Isaiah. They talked about Hezekiah and his choice to lead a righteous life. They learned how he turned to the prophet for guidance. They also discussed Isaiah's prophecies regarding the Second Coming and the Millennium. The assigned reading is Isaiah 54:10, 13-14, 17 and Isaiah 11:6-9.

If you have youth ages twelve and thirteen they learned about growing closer to the Savior by putting other needs before their own. The lesson focused on selfishness versus selflessness. The lesson used Jonathon, Ruth, Joseph Smith and Jesus Christ as examples of selfless people.

All members over the age of fourteen learned about Isaiah chapters one through six. The focus of the lesson was the importance of standing in holy places. The lesson discussed the wickedness that would be found in the latter days. It also discussed the importance of choosing to stand in holy places or choosing to surround yourself with righteousness. The lesson also discussed Isaiah's willingness to serve the Lord.

The young women learned about the importance of telling the truth. The young men learned about testimonies. The Priesthood and Relief Society learned about the importance of doing temple work and attending the temple.
