Here is a list of this week's topics covered in the various classes at Church. This is based on the lesson number thirty. Your ward may be on a different number due to stake conference, scheduling conflicts or a confused teacher. It may be a good idea to follow up on what week each of your children is on in various classes.

If you have a child in Nursery or Sunbeams he learned about the importance of forgiveness. The leaders illustrated the need to forgive others by sharing the story of Joseph being sold into Egypt by his brothers. Another example that was used was when Jesus forgave the soldiers who crucified him. You can also share the story of the prodigal son. You may want to share examples of times when your children have forgiven each other.

If you have children between the ages of four and seven they learned about being obedient. They discussed about how Christ was obedient when he suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane. They may have also discussed the story of Noah and how he was obedient when he built the ark. You may want to praise your children when they are obedient during the week.

If you have children between the ages of eight and eleven they learned about the story of David and Bathsheba. They discussed the importance of having pure thoughts. The children discussed ways to keep their thoughts clean. You may want to discuss this with them as well. The reading assignment was 2 Samuel 12:1-7.

If you have youth ages twelve and thirteen they learned about the blessings of work. This lesson talked about how work helps to build character. It also discusses the blessings of working together as a family. You may want to discuss the way chores are assigned in your family or complete a family project this weekend.

For all members of the church ages fourteen and up the lesson was on the importance of attending the temple and keeping it sacred. The lesson also discussed the importance of reading the scriptures, and learning the commandments, as they will help us to stay focused on the temple. The lessons were based on King Hezikiah and King Josiah. You can read about them in 2 Chronicles 29-34.

The Young Women talked about the importance of service. The Young Men discussed the Plan of Salvation. Relief Society and Priesthood were taught lessons from the individual ward presidencies this week.
