This week's dinner discussions are based on lesson seven from the manuals. You may need to adjust your lesson according to your ward's schedule. It is important to keep the dinner discussions positive so that your children will listen and learn. It is a great time to reinforce gospel principles.

If you have a child that is in Nursery or Sunbeams, he learned about the Holy Ghost. The children learned that the Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead and that he does not have a physical body. They also learned that the Holy Ghost can help them know what is right. They learned that they can receive the gift of the Holy Ghost when they are baptized. You may want to talk about you recognize the Holy Ghost.

If you have a child between the ages of four and seven she learned about faith in Jesus Christ. The children learned that faith is believing in something they haven't seen. They learned that faith in Jesus Christ is the first step in becoming a member of the church. They learned that the scriptures and the prophets testify of Christ. The children were encouraged to talk about the lesson with you at home. They were also encouraged to memorize the fourth article of faith.

If you have a child between the ages of eight and eleven he learned about the temptations of Christ. The children also discussed things that might tempt them and how to avoid and resist temptations. You may want to discuss ways to resist temptations with your family. The children were encouraged to read Matthew 4:1-11 at home.

If you have child who is twelve or thirteen she learned about strengthening a testimony of Joseph Smith. The lesson discussed scriptures that you can share with others when bearing your testimony of Joseph Smith. You may want to share how you gained your testimony of Joseph Smith with your family.

For all members over the age of fourteen the lesson talked about Jesus' healing miracles. The lesson discussed the importance of faith when it comes to healing. It also discussed that Christ can help us heal spiritual as well as physically. Next week's lesson's reading is Matthew 5.

The young women learned about living in harmony with your family. The young men learned about the importance of eternal families. The Priesthood and Relief Society lesson was on the miracle of forgiveness. It talked a lot about repentance. Next week's lesson will be based on talks from the last General Conference. You should talk to a local leader to find out the topic.
