LDS Week in Review: December 31st-January 5th

Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 52

This last week was an interesting one, since all of the manuals had finished up. This means that the teachers chose the lesson topic. Additionally it was a fifth Sunday so each bishop chose the lesson for the Relief Society Priesthood lessons. You may simply want to talk to your family and ask them what their lessons were about. You may consider talking a little bit about the Book of Mormon, since we will begin studying it in Sunday School next week. This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson 45 in the lesson manuals. The Junior Primary lessons are a week behind. Towards the end of the year the lessons begin to run out. You may want to incorporate the importance of giving and helping others as well as the true meaning of Christmas into your discussion. You can also create a good deed jar that you contribute to each day. You can each write down one nice thing you did for somebody each day and put it in the jar.
