Primary Time: November 2007 Sharing Time Theme

The Sharing Time theme for November is “My faith in Jesus Christ blesses my life. I am thankful for my many blessings.” The scripture is Doctrine and Covenants 59:7: “Thou shalt thank the Lord thy God in all things.” There is no specific song to teach this month, though you may want to work on Christmas carols as a family. The hymn “Because I Have Been Given Much” p 219 would be a good selection as well. The theme is broken down into four weekly principles. Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 37

This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson thirty-seven in the manual. The Junior Primary and Nursery children are a week behind, so the discussions are on lesson thirty-six. You may want to discuss the talks from Sacrament meeting or the Sharing time theme in Primary as well. Keep the discussions upbeat and positive. Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 34

This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson 34 in then manual if your child is in Senior Primary or higher. If you have child in Junior Primary the discussions are based on lesson 33. The Primary program is coming soon; you may want to review your children’s parts at dinner, if they already have them. If you have a child who is Nursery or Sunbeams he learned about being a friend. This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson thirty-three for all those in Senior Primary and older. The Junior Primary and Nursery lessons are based on week thirty-two. You may also want to talk about how school is going for your family and review any principles you cover in family home evening this week. From seminary to tithing to LDS secrets, this week carried with it a number of blogs sure to help and entertain you. Gospel Doctrine: In What Christ’s Resurrection Means to Each of Us, we discussed the impact of the resurrection in our lives. In Witness of the Resurrected Lord, we discussed various people who saw the Lord following His resurrection. In Doubting Thomas, we considered the disciples who doubted news of Christ’s resurrection. This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson twenty-three for those in Senior Primary and older. The Junior Primary’s lessons are based on lesson twenty-two. This week’s dinner discussions are based on week 21 for senior Primary children and older. The Nursery and Junior Primary lessons are based on week 20. Dinner discussions are a great way to help your children really understand the concepts that they are learning at church each week. It is important to keep these discussion fun and upbeat.
