Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 45

This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson 45 in the lesson manuals. The Junior Primary lessons are a week behind. Towards the end of the year the lessons begin to run out. If this happens, the teacher may choose a topic for the lesson. You may simply need to ask your family about it. You can also discuss the Christmas story and Christ with your children at dinner. Primary Time: November 2007 Sharing Time Theme

The Sharing Time theme for November is “My faith in Jesus Christ blesses my life. I am thankful for my many blessings.” The scripture is Doctrine and Covenants 59:7: “Thou shalt thank the Lord thy God in all things.” There is no specific song to teach this month, though you may want to work on Christmas carols as a family. The hymn “Because I Have Been Given Much” p 219 would be a good selection as well. The theme is broken down into four weekly principles. Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 40

This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson forty in your manuals. The Junior Primary is a week behind. You may want to begin focusing on things to be grateful in your dinner discussions as well. Remember to keep the discussions positive and upbeat. If you have a child in nursery, he learned about music. The lesson shared the story of the David playing music for King Saul, the Jaredites singing music in the barges, and the pioneers singing music on the exodus west. The children sang songs together. This week Tristi introduced a great new series that will answer common questions that those of other faiths may have about the church. Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 34

This week’s dinner discussions are based on lesson 34 in then manual if your child is in Senior Primary or higher. If you have child in Junior Primary the discussions are based on lesson 33.
