LDS Week in Review April 23-28

We had a great week in the LDS blog last week. The LDS Families Week in Review: April 2nd – April 8th

Gospel Doctrine: This week’s Gospel Doctrine covers the upcoming lesson 13, “I Will Give Unto Thee the Keys of the Kingdom,” which involves Matthew 15:21-17:9. In “Great Is Thy Faith”, we examined the faith of the Canaanite woman who asked the Savior to heal her daughter, and how we can press on even when we seem to receive no answer to our pleadings. Growing from General Conference

Now that General Conference is over and done, those of us who have attended my feel as though we’ve ‘done our duty’ until the May Ensign comes out and we can study and ponder the talks. However, I’d like to take a minute to challenge you to truly make the most of what you heard over the past weekend. Dinner Discussions 2007 Spring General Conference

Since this last Sunday was General Conference the dinner discussions for this week should be based on several of the talks that were given this weekend. You could assign each of your children to lead a discussion on their favorite talk or you could talk about the talks that apply more to your family situation.
