This is my last post as a blogger at families.com. I just wanted to write a simple thank you to those who have been reading my words for the last several years. I have truly enjoyed my time here, and I've really felt blessed, as I have shared my testimony of the gospel.

When it comes to preparedness, it is important to know how to complete the tasks that you are preparing for. For example if you need to start a fire to keep warm, you should know how to do it. Or if you have stored a lot of wheat, you should know how to cook with it.

Ward and Family

One of the blessings of being a member of the church is the immediate fellowship that you can find in the ward. The ward family provides many services to its members. It is a place that you can go to find friendships in a new area.

There are a variety of committees that function within the church. At first these callings may not seem to be of much importance, but when you are on a committee the work that you do is usually behind the scenes. However, you will do quite a bit of work.

Teaching the gospel is an important part of the church. At some time almost every member of the church will have the opportunity to teach in some capacity at church. Additionally one of the most important places that we will teach the gospel is in our homes.
