Camping Out

by Nola Redd

22 Aug 2007 07:00 AM

I just came home from an awesome Relief Society activity. We had a campfire right in the middle of the Primary room, told scary stories, and had an awesome time bonding. And we managed to host a visiting teaching seminar, as well. I'd like to pass on this great idea, courtesy of our President.

It can be so difficult when we try to help someone who doesn't seem to want real help. So many people want support with the here-and-now but have a hard time focusing on the long term.

by Nola Redd

09 Jun 2007 07:00 AM

This month's visiting teaching lesson is on how to become the Lord's instrument by standing strong and immovable. As we stand against the tides of the evil one, we are able to stand in holy places.

Visiting Teaching By Inspiration

by Nola Redd

02 May 2007 09:00 AM

At a recent stake Relief Society training session, I learned something about home and visiting teaching that I had never heard before. In my ten years of visiting sisters in the ward, I generally followed the message published in the Ensign.
