A great web site that I have discovered is www.besmart.com. It is a church sponsored web site and it contains information about the church schools. It also has a link to the Institute program's website. This is great site for your teenagers who are beginning to prepare for college.

One section is designed for middle school and junior high school students. It talks about the importance of planning to attend college now. It lists steps that students will need to complete in order to be accepted into a church school. One thing the site recommends is to be sure to talk to your guidance counselor when planning your classes so you can take all of the classes required for college admission.

Another section talks about the steps high school students need to take to apply for college. This talks about things such as graduating from seminary, being involved in extracurricular activities and getting good grades. There are videos that talk about this process that are available to view on this site.

Another section talks about how to choose the right college for you. It lists different factors that you may want to consider as well as provides information about the four church schools. Another section lists the steps needed to apply for college and links to the college's website so that you can find out more about the school that you are applying for.

You can also learn a bit more about ways to make college more affordable for your family. Another great feature of this site is the videos, which are available to view. The videos talk about different aspects of going to school. This is a great resource available to teens and their families to help them begin to prepare for college. I hope that you will check it out.
